About this work:
One of the collages was assembled from pictures of the Clothing Project, which was most recently presented at the Museum Fridericianum in Kassell, Germany. The rest of the collages are made up of imagery appropriated from materials published by 1960s and 70s social organizations, such as the Black Panthers, the Yippies, and the San Francisco Diggers, to name a few. In its unedited form, much of this material has been collected, reproduced, and distributed by It Can Change as a component to a previous exhibition or public action.
MOVE 9, 667 Shotwell, Bobby Seale, Black Panther Party, Orson Bean, Wilhelm Reich, SF Diggers, Yippies, Temporary Services, Red76, Let’s Be Active, Learning to Love You More, Medicinal Marijuana Activists, Clothing Project participants, White Night Rioters, A’s, Raiders, Niels Wolf, Ted Purves, Cambalaches, all Anarchists and Gutter Punx. Dedicated to every molecule of energy expended in The Struggle.
